Serving the Needs of our Adopted Marines, Sailors and their Families
Our battalion is currently deployed aboard ships. If you would like to send a card or letter to a member of the “Thundering Third,” please address your card or letter to “A Marine” or “Any 3/1 Marine” c/0 the 1st Sgt. listed with each company or ship below. You may send several cards together. Just put them in a larger envelope and address to the 1st Sgt.
The guys love to get current events and sports news, stories and news from your own family or group (they love photos, too!), and any words of kindness, support and gratitude. If you’d like, you may also send small packages; things like current DVDs, CDs, itune gift cards and long distance calling cards (AT&T seem to work best). Thank you for your support of the Marines, Sailors and Families of the “Thundering Third!”
