5K Fun Run/Walk along the beautiful Huntington Beach Coast. Runners and Walkers will take off from the parking lot at Beach Blvd./PCH and proceed North, past the Pier and back again. Relatively easy course with one small incline. NO ANIMALS allowed on the course. Our Marines are currently deployed, but we will be filming the event (and messages from many of YOU!) to send to them! Please come support the 3rd Battalion/1st Marines and enjoy a great morning at the beach!

Date: Saturday, March 10, 2012  Start time: 8:30 a.m.

Address: Beach Parking Lot, Beach Blvd/Pacific Coast Hwy

Fees: $40 until March 8, 5:00 p.m. You may also register for $40 on March 9 at the packet pick up or Race Day between 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. for $60.  Does not include breakfast.

Registration Closing Date: Friday, March 9, 2012 5:00 p.m.

Directions: RACE STARTS AND FINISHES IN THE PARKING LOT AT BEACH BLVD & PACIFIC COAST HWY IN HUNTINGTON BEACH.

PARKING: Beach Parking Lot: $15 Metered Spaces along Pacific Coast Hwy. Limited parking on surface streets. Public Parking Structure: 2nd Block of Main Street. first 2 hours $1/hour; after 2 hours $1/20 mins.
PRE REGISTRATION PACKET PICK UP: Pick up your bib numbers, shirts and other goodies on Friday, March 9, 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Parking lot at First Christian Church, 1207 Main Street, Huntington Beach (Corner Main/17th Street)

BREAKFAST  All race participants and the general public are invited to enjoy a fantastic pancake breakfast, served up by the HB Firefighters! We’re making it even better this year and well worth the $5 per person cost!

The 3/1 Run is a family-friendly event with a relatively easy course, against the backdrop of the beautiful Huntington Beach coastline. Your participation in this event will help the 3/1 Foundation fund all the programs, projects and activities we undertake each year in support of our city’s adopted battalion.
